My father was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2002 at the age of 54. Upon his diagnosis my brother, sister, and myself underwent colonoscopies even though the doctors reassured us we shouldn't until we were 40. My brother was diagnosed a month later with stage 4 colon cancer. After a two year battle, my brother passed away on September 3rd, 2004, two days after his 32nd birthday. After a 4 year battle with colon cancer, my father followed my brother into heaven on January 15, 2006 - my 21st birthday. They were two very fine individuals; each carried alot of heart! I miss the two of them dearly and am anxious for the day I get two see them again! God Bless!
